Giancarlo Cangiano is arguably the most passionate advocate of the Powerboat P1 series, as well as one of its most successful entrants. Giancarlo has been involved in racing since 1992, and entered Powerboat P1 in 2002. The fast-flowing charm of this charismatic Neopolitan entrepreneur belies the steely, competitive spirit that he brings to the championship, both inside and outside the boat. As team owner and a skilful pilot, he's driven by the desire to win races and titles, as befits a 2006 Evolution class world champion. He channels his passion for success into securing the best personnel and boat for his team, and then going all out to realise its potential on race day.
