Soldini: almost sure for pit stop in St Barth
Giovanni and Peter are finally in the sun and in the Alisei winds and maintain the second position after eighteen difficult days of bolina between depressions and thunderstorms that have caused the breach of the bearing of the stay and a deep leak in the bulkhead behind the tree. The winds from east push the Italian boat towards St Barth (distant 500 miles) but for the moment is impossible to fix the edge of the stay, since the complex operation demands flat conditions nearly total. Almost sure is the pit stop of the Italian crew to St Barth, that Giovanni and Peter would reach friday evening and in three hours get fix the stay overhead the tree. At h 13 Italians Initiatives-Novedia (De Lamotte-Hardy) is leading the fleet with 120,1 miles of advantage on Telecom Italia.
